Picture this: I'm at this appraisal conference, chatting with David from Working RE magazine, when he drops this bomb of wisdom on me. He says, "You don't know what you don't know." Now, I know it sounds like one of those "duh" moments, but stick with me here. It's a pretty brilliant concept.
Think about it—how can you feel bad about something you don't even know exists? It's like feeling guilty for not knowing how to fix a spaceship when you've never even seen one up close. Makes sense, right?
This got me thinking about my own journey. Years back, my wife and I decided to kick our TV habit. We were spending way too much time on mindless entertainment, and it was time for a change. But let me tell you, that empty space left behind by the TV? It was like a black hole, sucking us in. So, I decided to fill it with something productive—reading.
And boy, did I read. I devoured books on history, success principles, you name it. It was during this time that I stumbled upon what I call the "principles of prosperity." These were the keys to success in all aspects of life—finance, health, relationships, you name it.
But here's the kicker: it's not enough to just know these principles. You gotta live 'em. And let me tell you, I've made my fair share of mistakes along the way. But hey, that's part of the journey, right? So, here's my challenge to you: are you where you want to be? If not, maybe it's time to start filling those knowledge gaps. Learn, grow, apply—rinse and repeat.
