Quality Phone Systems Lead to a Quality Business

Having the correct phone system is integral for making your business a success. The technology that is available for small businesses is well worth the investment. Ultimately, if you have a quality phone system, your business will be presented as more professional.

I have tried many phone systems in an attempt to find one that is ideally suited to my business. While the system that ultimately ended up filling my needs may not be equally successful for you, I want to share some of my insights so that you, hopefully, do not end up going through as much hassle as I did while trying to find the perfect phone system.

I have found the most success with a voice over internet protocol (VOIP) phone system. They work well as long as you have a high-speed internet connection. There are many companies to choose from, and you will pay for the advantages, but I have been greatly impressed by the many unique features associated with this technology that help my own business run smoothly. A couple that I love are that I can record all calls and that I can protect my personal cellphone number from being known in the appraisal world while still being able to receive calls on my personal cell.  We also have the choice to hold with music, transfer, call-follow, and more. I have employees here in Idaho, in California, and even in the Philippines. All of them can, and do, use the system without problem.

Remember, we have very little walk-in traffic.  Most of our public personna comes from our websites and our phones.  Ultimately your phone system, whatever it may be, should make you and your business look and sound more professional. If your current phone system is not accomplishing this goal, it is time to start looking for something different. I go into a lot more detail on this topic in my podcast, so if you are interested, check it out below.
