“Google Juice” - The Secret Sauce
Jan 25, 2026
I’ve seen it far too often—an appraiser spends thousands of dollars on a sleek, professional-looking website. It’s got videos, stunning photos, a catchy call to action… everything a “modern” site should have. But then… crickets. No leads, no calls, nothing.
Here’s the truth: if no one can find your website, it might as well not exist. That’s where SEO—search engine optimization—comes in. Or, as I like to call it, Google juice. You can have the prettiest digital “dress” in the world, but if it’s buried in the back of the closet (page 10 of Google), no one’s ever going to take it dancing.
Most people never scroll past the first five results on a Google search. That’s the goal. That’s where you want to be. And the only way to get there is through solid SEO. That might mean doing the work yourself (if you're up for learning how Google's ever-changing algorithm works), or—more realistically—hiring someone to help.
For most appraisers, a one-time SEO setup by a professional can be a game-changer. You don’t always need to be on a $1,200/month retainer. Just get the basics right: keyword optimization, solid metadata, relevant content, and a properly set up Google Business Profile.
Want to be found when someone searches for an appraiser in your area? Don’t just build a great site—make sure it can be seen.
