The first-ever appraisal business owner retreat took place in a breathtaking mountaintop setting just outside Yosemite National Park in California. This wasn’t another appraiser conference filled with CE credits, AMCs, GSEs, vendors, and dull education. It was a unique three-day experience where 15 ambitious business owners came together in seclusion.
Coach Dustin and Coach Blaine joined forces to deliver an event that transformed both lives and businesses. There had never been anything like it for real estate appraisers. Attendees tore up the old playbook and left with a renewed vision, empowered mindset, and fresh strategies to turbocharge their appraisal businesses and personal lives.
The retreat combined intense business and personal growth planning with time for yoga, hiking, gourmet dining, and a special VIP tour of Yosemite National Park.

 Dustin Harris is a successful, self-employed, residential real estate appraiser. He has been appraising for almost three decades. In 2021, he sold his appraisal business at top dollar and he still actively appraises. He is a popular author, speaker and consultant. He also owns and operates The Appraiser Coach where he personally advises and mentors other appraisers helping them to also run successful appraisal companies and increase their net worth. Â
His blog is read by over 20,000 appraisers nationwide and he facilitates several appraiser membership groups both online and in person. His free podcast is listened to by thousands of appraisers each week. He and his wife have four children (and one grandchild) and reside in Idaho.
Blaine Feyen has been involved in real estate since he bought his first rental property at 18. Blaine has been a real estate agent, a loan originator, a licensed builder, a developer, and an appraiser for the past 25 years. Blaine built and sold several other businesses over that time and, today, runs a busy appraisal company, as well as a real estate investment company.
Blaine is the host of the Real Value Podcast and founder of the Real Value Coaching Academy, which boasts some of the most successful appraisal business owners in the country as its members and clients, while also a coach to CEO’s and entrepreneurs in several other industries.Â
